Welcome to Crystal Clear Cleaning Services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

1. Definitions

In these Terms:

  • "Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Crystal Clear Cleaning Services, a company registered in England and Wales.
  • "Service(s)" refers to the cleaning services offered by the Company, including but not limited to residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and post-construction cleaning.
  • "Client," "you," or "your" refers to the individual or entity that purchases or uses our Services.
  • "Website" refers to our website located at www.crystalclearcleaning.co.uk, including all content, information, and services available through the website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Website or Services, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
  • You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Services

3.1 Service Description

We provide various cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. The specific scope of work, pricing, and schedule for the Services will be agreed upon between you and the Company before the commencement of any Services.

3.2 Service Booking

You may book our Services through our Website, by phone, or via email. All bookings are subject to acceptance and confirmation by us. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without providing a reason.

3.3 Service Modifications

Any modifications to the Services must be agreed upon in writing between you and the Company. Additional charges may apply for additional services requested by you during or after the provision of the agreed Services.

3.4 Service Standards

We strive to provide high-quality cleaning services in accordance with industry standards. However, due to the nature of cleaning services, results may vary based on factors such as the condition of the property, the type of surfaces being cleaned, and the age and nature of dirt or stains.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Access to Premises

You are responsible for providing access to the premises where the Services are to be performed at the agreed time. If our cleaning team cannot gain access to your premises at the scheduled time, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee as outlined in Section 5.3.

4.2 Safe Working Environment

You must ensure that the premises where the Services are to be performed provide a safe working environment for our cleaning staff. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Functioning utilities (water, electricity)
  • Adequate lighting
  • Absence of hazardous materials or conditions
  • Securing pets that may interfere with the cleaning process

4.3 Preparation of the Premises

Unless otherwise specified, you are responsible for removing personal belongings, valuables, and fragile items from the areas to be cleaned before our arrival. We are not responsible for moving heavy furniture or appliances unless specifically agreed upon in advance.

4.4 Disclosure of Special Conditions

You must inform us of any special conditions or requirements before the commencement of Services, including but not limited to:

  • Allergies to specific cleaning products
  • Delicate or special surfaces that require specific care
  • Areas that should not be cleaned
  • Pre-existing damages or issues

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Service Fees

Our Service fees are based on the type of Service, the size of the property, and the specific requirements of the cleaning job. Prices may be provided as fixed quotes or hourly rates, as agreed upon between you and the Company before the commencement of Services.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash (for certain Services). Payment terms will be specified in your booking confirmation. For recurring Services, we may require setting up automatic payments.

5.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling Fees

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled Service. The following fees may apply:

  • Cancellation or rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice: 50% of the Service fee
  • Cancellation or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice: 100% of the Service fee
  • No-show or inability to access premises: 100% of the Service fee

5.4 Late Payment

Late payments may incur additional charges. We reserve the right to suspend Services until full payment has been received. For recurring Services, late payment may result in termination of the service agreement.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints

6.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to your satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with our Services, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion, and we will return to address the areas of concern at no additional cost, subject to the conditions in Section 6.2.

6.2 Complaint Procedure

All complaints must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 24 hours of the completion of the Service. The complaint should include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Date and location of the Service
  • Detailed description of the issue(s)
  • Photos of the areas of concern, if possible

We will respond to all complaints within 2 business days and make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly.

6.3 Limitations to Guarantee

Our satisfaction guarantee does not cover:

  • Issues not reported within 24 hours of Service completion
  • Areas or items that were not accessible or visible during the cleaning
  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Stains or damage that cannot be removed/resolved through standard cleaning methods
  • Issues arising from Client's failure to meet responsibilities outlined in Section 4

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Insurance Coverage

We maintain comprehensive liability insurance and employee bonding to cover potential damages that may occur during the provision of our Services. However, our liability is limited as described in the following sections.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the total amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

7.3 Exclusions from Liability

We shall not be liable for:

  • Damage due to pre-existing conditions in the property
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage to items not properly secured or protected
  • Damage resulting from incorrect information provided by the Client
  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Damages exceeding the replacement value of items

7.4 Reporting Damage

Any claim for damage allegedly caused by our Services must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the completion of the Service. The claim should include a detailed description of the damage and supporting photographs.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

8.1 Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal and business information. Our cleaning staff are trained to maintain the confidentiality of any information they may be exposed to while performing Services at your premises.

8.2 Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Term and Termination

9.1 Term

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use our Website or Services. For recurring Services, the term will be as specified in your service agreement.

9.2 Termination by Client

You may terminate recurring Services by providing written notice as specified in your service agreement, typically 14 days in advance. Termination fees may apply as outlined in your specific service agreement.

9.3 Termination by Company

We reserve the right to terminate our Services at any time if:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms
  • Payment is not received according to the agreed terms
  • You provide false or misleading information
  • The working conditions at your premises pose a health or safety risk to our staff
  • Continued provision of Services is not commercially viable for us

9.4 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, you remain liable for any outstanding payments for Services rendered prior to termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to provisions regarding payment, liability, and dispute resolution.

10. General Provisions

10.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

10.2 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on our Website. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10.3 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10.4 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If such negotiations fail, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10.5 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.

10.6 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, government actions, or major utility failures.

10.7 Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent to a subsidiary or successor in interest.

10.8 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. The waiver of any such right or provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the Company.
